Mathematics is a discipline where a student needs to get the logic and certain class of a rules. Once these sets up are basically laid down, then a child simply needs to practice and get a command of the topic by preforming the elementary models. Being the result of hard work and building upon a sound foundation, a higher mark of A or B should be anticipated for sure.
Building confidence
Whenever a kid is really having a hard time, I seek the right "handle" in order to apply to let the student to realise the idea. Because of my experience from an extensive lifework in which I had a teaching function, even though outside of education, I can surely show the seriousness of numeracy, and of the essential need to establish a scholar's self-assurance. I firmly believe the art to coming to be proficient at or good in mathematics is in the teaching; it is not the child's fault if the teaching is poor and/or doesn't unlock the consciousness and assist them to "get it", enjoy it and also become self-confident at it.
Honesty and sympathy
I feel that a student will not study if they are not stimulated and committed, and a specific powerful motivator for scholars is the relationship between the tutor and the child. A supportive approach, and an environment where the relationship between learner and tutor can grow and work for frank dialogue, so the child is not nervous to address zones of disadvantage and misunderstanding, will be granted. I work hard to build a supportive and respective relationship with each and every student I teach, in such manner that they also can praise the exciting ideas inside the environment that mathematics and science give me.
I can work with students in any level of mathematics. I believe that my fantastic strength is actually to meet the individual student at the level they right now are, and stimulate them further. I strongly believe that almost nothing is more crucial for success that the child's self-confidence. It is my aim - to help children get faith in themselves through mathematics and pass through. Some details satisfy me more compared to when a scholar sees it and their self-confidence flourishes.
